Privacy

Tumhara pyaar, sirf tumhara raaz.

Privacy isn't a settings toggle here — it's the entire premise. Below is exactly what that means in practice, not marketing language.

We can't read your messages

Encryption happens on your device before a message ever leaves it. What reaches our servers is ciphertext — meaningless noise without your keys. We built it this way on purpose: not "we promise not to look," but "there is nothing to see."

Nothing lingers after delivery

Once a message is delivered and acknowledged, it doesn't need to sit on our servers — and it doesn't. Set a disappearing timer on top for conversations that should vanish entirely.

No ads. No data resale. Ever.

Whispr isn't funded by knowing more about you. There's no ad network reading your chats to target you, and no data broker on our vendor list.

No phone number, no email, no real name required

Sign up with a username and a password. That's the entire identity graph we hold on you.

Two independent PINs protect the app itself

Your App PIN gates entry on this device. Your Delete PIN — separate, and known only to you — permanently erases every conversation the instant it's entered. No grace period, no soft-delete.

You can see and kill every session

Every device and login session tied to your account is listed in Settings → Security, with one tap to revoke. If something looks unfamiliar, cut it off immediately.
